State research projects
Every fall WisDOT Research solicits ideas for new research projects.
We select and fund research projects across a range of
subject areas, from highway materials and construction to
multi-modal policy and planning. These projects are typically 6
months to 2 years in length and respond to a need for in-depth
research to address a problem.

We can help you develop a proposal for your project, conduct a
literature search to see what's already been done on the subject and
