TRB planning
In preparation for the Transportation Research Board Annual
Meeting every January, WisDOT Research helps coordinate department
participation, guiding staff on using the interactive online
planning tool and facilitating systematic attendance at
high-priority sessions for WisDOT.
After the TRB meeting, Research pulls together the key takeaways
that staff had when attending the sessions for presentation to
WisDOT managers. Capturing the value of attendance and how the
information will be passed on is a key component of the coordination
process.
